We decided not to stay at this site, as the tent pads weren't going to be big enough for our group (4-person tent and 2-person tent). The kitchen had a nice elevated fire grate (see photo), and the views were nice from between the trees. If it had been overcast and cooler, we might have stayed here, and set up our tents in the more open areas. As is mentioned in other reviews, the better landing is on the south side.

We stayed two nights at this lovely site, which is nicely sized and provides ample space for a crew to spread out. There are productive fishing sites all around the area, but we had some pretty fierce winds the days we stayed here, which made it somewhat difficult. When we stayed there were about 200 seagulls camped out on a small island to the southwest of the site, which made for some noisy evenings.

Nice view from site. Had a snapper laying eggs within 30 feet of our grill. Nice landing to north.

Nice, high kitchen view. There are multiple landing possibilities. The hardest is in front of the site (north side), but it is probably the most obvious and most used. The better landing is on the south side of the island. The site is covered in majestic white pines. Many places to put tents.
