large patch of posion ivy (10'x15'). reported to Forrest Service sept 2023, not sure if they do anything about it though. in main area of camp. not much wind protection, but two sandy beaches is nice. see photo of redden late season leaves.

Nice site with front and rear beach areas. Plenty of breeze and flat tent pads. Built up tables and benches were nice. Great place to walk around and explore and good beach combing.

The south beach was overrun with poison ivy. The area around the fire grate was brushy. We were windbound so bugs were not a problem.

Huge flat tent pads, beach landings on both sides. Unfortunately, this site lacks open rock and the bugs were horrible (even in August) because the site doesn't catch much breeze.
