I stopped here for a break while heading south. The whole island burned in 2021. I could not find a fire pit, but it might have been covered by down burned trees. There is a wide low sloping granite outcrop coming up from the lake. This would be an ok site to stay, only if it was calm out. There is no shelter from any wind direction which is bad since Musclow is such a large lake.
