I agree with the other comment. Fantastic campsite. The entire island survived the 2021 fire. There are two campsites here, connected by a short trail on the southeast side of the island. I had a strong SW wind the day I arrived, so used the campsite on the east side. Fire rings and great shoreline for swimming. I also cut down numerous standing dead trees so it is much safer. Not many other campsites in the area due to the fires, so make use of this one. It is worth the detour off the Bloodvein River.

Excellent seldom used site on a partially burned lake. Easy water access on 2 sides of the unburned island. Three tent pads are on level grass, with a fouth around the corner. Two fire pits.
