Slightly more difficult landing with the very high water in early 2022, but excellent high-ground site, very good tent pads, very little traffic on this end of Lake Three. The bear tree northeast along the trail in another review is there, but it's an adequate rather than good one, as there's no limb to get it both high enough off the ground, low enough from the branch, and far enough from the tree -- but still better than leaving a food pack on the ground.

Excellent on all accounts. The perfect campsite with lots of space for tents. And a fantastic easy bear tree just down the trail a bit on the northeast side.

Great site! Elevated fire grate with great breeze, sun, and views. Site is positioned on a narrow pass so pretty private even though Lake 3 can be busy. Great fishing around the islands in front. Great sandy canoe landing. Will be checking out this site again!
