Stopped here in the wind and had lunch, there is only one decent tent pad, the main site area was soaking wet. No where to hang a hammock with out 20 foot suspension. lots of dead trees. great view.
with the high water unless you wanted to wade, the latrine was partially submerged at this time.

I would probably rate this a 2.5 star, but I rounded up to three. The landings are tricky. In front of the site, you end up rock hopping (at least when I was there - the water was low). The other option is a landing to the west with a not-short trail to the campsite. Saying there are two good tent pads might be a stretch - one of them is a little slanted and probably rocky. I doubt the swimming is good just based on what the shoreline and water looked like. A big positive is the view. The kitchen is elevated a little bit, and the view towards the south is very nice.

Beautiful spot, with campsite overlooking the lake. Logs around the fire, flat tent area. The only downside was fairly rocky landing for the canoe and the latrine is a bit of a hike. Overall, pretty great.

Stopped for lunch on a cool, windy day. The seating logs have been cut up and burned. I don't know why. There is plenty of dead wood around the campsite. The pads aren't the most flat or level. The site is mostly exposed to the wind. One of the pads is sheltered in the woods a bit. The landing was okay on a flat, rocky area. Heard something big crashing through the woods, but saw nothing after some investigation.
