This site was small and very protected from the lake. Would be nice if there were high winds on Basswood. We didn't like it because we had 6 people, 3 tents and it was hot. We wanted a breeze form the lake. Swimming here was ok but so many slippery large rocks made getting in and out of the lake hard. The latrine was very close to the common area of the site. There was lots of beaver sign around the site and a beaver lodge nearby.
