A couple of good places to land the canoe. Short climb to the kitchen with a decent view. Will be a little busy since it is close to the portage. Rocky, but there are a couple of OK tent pads.

Really wet area. All downed trees covered with moss. Seems like the river creates a very damp micro environment. No easy firewood. No toilet. Good place to stay if starting down the river.
