I stopped for lunch on my way north and really liked this island campsite. The best access is on the west side and the big fire pit is on top. The fire did not touch this island so many trees for rain tarps. If I find myself back on Bulging Lake I will stay here.

Other two nearby campsites are burned up with standing dead trees. This site is pretty nice, and is the only and best one we found on Bulging lake. Look no further.
