On my way east I stopped in to have a look. Unfortunately the 2021 fire took out this site. No more green trees. The nice fire pit is still there and level spots for tents, just no shelter from the wind. Wide open now. But there are enough standing dead to set-up a tarp shelter for cooking. I would stay here next time I am paddling through.

Very nice site. The tent area was excellent, perfectly level and room for many tents. The kitchen area is very open and exposed. If the weather is foul, you can use a secondary fire pit in the trees near the tent pads. Plenty of firewood and a really nice view of the lake. Lots of room for shore fishing and we caught a huge walleye from the canoe landing spot.

Good site, we stayed here and enjoyed it. I don't take good notes but this is probably the best if not only campsite on the lake!

Primo site. Excellent kitchen/fire area. Lots of shore fishing spots. Really nice tent area in the woods behind fire area. Landing is OK. Several spots to hang a hammock. Good swimming access. Lots of tie out options for a kitchen tarp. Views from northwest to south (even a little southwest).
