This island survived the 2021 fire and is a great site. I am slowly seeing all of WCPP and now realizing that since the fires over the last decade (especially 2016 and 2021), there are not many great campsites left in the Park. This is one of them. Many level tent sites and great fire pit. Good spot to base camp from. It is starting to get impacted but no where near the level of BWCA or Quetico.

Nice site, great fire spot for cooking fish. Caught easy walleye just off the north corner of the island.

I stopped by on our way east and wrote OK on my map, meaning it is a usable but not remarkable site. We kept going.

A great, small island site. There's not a ton of room here. A nice flat and sheltered spot.
