This site has a lot going for it. It's next to a "Walleye Factory" - you can catch lunch and supper right off the site! It's huge and open and has a nice swimming area and flat tent sites in the forest away from the kitchen area.
Update: Visited again in 2022. This is a "3-Star" site only because it's obviously overused. It's been less used since Covid and the outfitters stopped channeling every client through here so upped it from 2 to 3 stars. See updated photos for conditions of trees at site now.
Update: Visited again in 2023. Upped it back to "4-star" simply due to amazing fishing and location. Feels less trashed than when outfitters had clients coming through weekly.
Update: Visited yet again in 2024. How can this not be "5-star" considering the state of much of the rest of the park? We shared the site with two other fellas and it worked well, as usual. Caught by far the most walleye of the entire trip here - it was too hot to catch fish elsewhere apparently.

Great campsite, would use again. Caught walleye from camp and nearby easily. Actually shared the site with another couple who arrived late. Not room for a lot of canoes (3 were crammed in at the landing) but several tent pads and nice rock point leading down to lake, with good fishing access to the falls.

Just paddled by, as it was occupied. Looked to be a really nice site, with several open areas for hammocks and tents.
