I have paddled by this campsite many times in the past but have never got to look at it. I had time in late 2024 and was impressed by this campsite. This side of the creek did not burn in 2016, so many green trees. The fire ring is well built and would be ok for campfire cooking. The tent spots are on a flat spot on the other side of the domed ridge, so some privacy from the well used canoe route going to Mexican Hat Lake. Good for a large group.
