This is a huge campsite, with many mature pine trees, which are good for shade and hammock camping. There have been several blowdowns in the last couple of years, so (as always) assess the trees near where you set up your tents.
The site is generally quite open, with two separate areas for tents and an okay kitchen (exposed; would be hard to tarp), but has beautiful views and gets a nice breeze. There are a couple of good landings.
As others have noted, it is right on the channel to Jackfish Bay, but the traffic was not a nuisance in the two days we spent here.

Like so many others, we just stopped here for lunch, rather than stay the night. The kitchen area is right out in the open with no shade or wind block from storms. Forget about putting up a tarp. It's got plenty of room for the largest groups, though. The upper section has more shelter options, but is still quite open. It's right on the main channel, so everyone will be paddling or motoring by, as others have pointed out. It's probably a great place for birdwatching. There was some fresh blow down, check the neighboring trees before setting up a tent. Almost any of the other sites in the area would be preferable, but this site would do in a pinch, or for a large group looking for breathing room and not worried about the sun. Very nice spot for lunch, though. Since it faces WSW, the sunsets should be awesome, too.

Have never stayed here overnight, but have stopped here several times for lunch. A good landing can become tricky if there is a South wind. A large flat open area sits 30 feet or so above the lake and can accommodate a big party. Kitchen just OK. A nice spot.

Didn't stay her but stopped by. Site is elevated & has a great view. Pretty much the entire thing is sloped. Going to be a lot of boat traffic going by - good central location if staying for a few days

This site is elevated above the lake with a great view and a breeze. There is a lot of hammock space at this very large site in pines. Plenty of shade and sun. The toilet is even is even in a good location.

Didn't sleep here but there are fish in the narrows right here. Throw crank baits for pike. Here's the video:

This is a great SE facing site. The drawback is, it's on a channel so all traffic goes right by. The site itself has 2 main areas, one lower just up from the water which has the fire grate and is open with multiple tent pads. Further up is a red pine grove which is perfect for hammocks (or more tents). I hammock camp so absolutely fell in love with the upper area. Often used.
