We didn't stay here, so I don't know how it would have worked to actually camp here, but it looked really interesting. It would be a lot of fun for kids to explore, for example. There are 3 different potential landing/fishing sites. The kitchen has a nice view. It's far enough away from the nearby sites to still feel private. The best view was looking north, but I'm guessing there is a great view of the sunset, and some good shade (it was overcast the day we visited). There are plenty of things to trip on, however, so watch your step.

Main landing is from the cove on the north end of the peninsula. Latrine is along the path leading northeast from the fire grate. Latrine can be partially seen from the fire grate and from the cove. A nice extra tent area on the peninsula along a path leading south from the fire grate.
Stayed here because all other sites on Pipestone Bay were taken by motorboaters during fishing opener weekend. Would stay here again.
