I camped here overnight and really liked this campsite. It is on a wide flat peninsula that is about 50 m north of the portage. A plus...since it is not on the portage itself. The last forest fire only partial burned this campsite so some green trees still standing. It has not been used for a few years, so it was a mess with downed trees when I arrived. But the trees were small and it did not take long to clean up. It has a large and well built fire ring in the middle of the site. The only downside keeping me from giving it a 5 star rating is the small size. Not much room to roam around.
