This island was also burned during the last forest fire, but it was not so intense, and left the trees as burnt standing dead. The campsite is found on the south end and west side of the island. The fire ring is down by the lake and in decent shape. The only flat tent spots are back up from the lake on top of a flat granite outcrop. Not a lot of room at this campsite.
