I stopped here for lunch on my way east and liked this spot. There is a small pocket of green trees that survived the last forest fire. It has not been used much so don't expect a well worn campsite. No fire pit, so that will have to be built if you want one, and only a small level tent spot. I only give it 3 stars since it is was not burned and there is not much else around.
