This end site on Caribou Point features an impressive rock view from the top of the rock. An old chain cemented into the rock verifies another use before this became a canoe campsite. The landing is on a low ledge with rocks facilitating nose-in loading. There is a steep climb that may be slippery up to the small clearing. Canoes likely should be brought up also, as there isn't much storage on the rock shelf. The kitchen with 2 log seating and the tent pads occupy most of the clearing. The grate doesn't face the lake, so it is not well fortified from winds. Two of the tent pads are on the big rock bluff overlooking the lake.

The site is not as bad as it appears from the water. The landing is a slippery rock. Grate is on a barren rock, but it has a nice view and sitting rocks. Low scrub brush by the grate.
