We stopped here for lunch. We hadn't been bothered by mosquitoes for our entire trip until we got to this site. The take out is right next to a marsh, so even though it is very sandy, we'd never have a nice swim with the bug factory next door. The kitchen had limited seating, but an excellent view (short climb up a trail from the landing) and good shade. The only flat tent pad was quite a walk around the corner on one of the many trails. Everything else is sloped. The bugs weren't quite as bad in the kitchen area itself, and with a northwestern breeze might not be too bad.
