Rock spit and several shallow gravel landings. Good views from the rocks. Could be windy because the site is exposed. There is little shade around the kitchen.

Nice site on Basswood. Flat areas for tents. Decent trees for hammocks. While there is no beach here, we paddled across the small bay to a beach SW 1/4 mile away for swimming. Water goes deep right off of camp. Lots of bald eagles in this area.
