The small gravel landing is easy enough for take out and put in, but doesn't have enough sand to be called a beach. There is a decent view from the kitchen area, and some protection from sun and storms. We had to walk quite a ways to find an ok place to hang the food bag. We heard a very large animal walk through the campsite in the middle of the night. We didn't see it, but the sounds couldn't have come from anything other than a moose or a very large deer. The campsites in the area filled up. We had a group ask our advice on how far to the closest open camp site. I felt bad that we had to direct them to the next campsite east, as it's clearly smaller with no view from the kitchen area, and they were a large group.

Gravel/small rock landing. The site is decent, nothing spectacular. Fairly small overall. Three tent pads - one is very large, the other two are close together. The site to the west is a little better.

We stayed with four small ultra-light tents, I think space is enough for two big tents, Nice view, no cell phone signal, easy docking, mosquitos
