We took this site for one night because thunderstorms were in the area and the better sites on Lake One were taken. Our tent site was about 100 feet away from the fire grate. If you have a free standing tent, you will find nicer spots closer. The path to the latrine goes uphill over a large granite outcropping which is very slick when wet. The fire grate is about 100 feet from the portgage and persons at the portgage are easily visible and heard.

Nice site that looks to the east. It's a little hidden from the shoreline - but easy to find if you can locate the portage toward Confusion Lake (heading north). You know you're close when you hear the river rapids. It's a slightly elevated site, and the tent pads are scattered out throughout the campsite. There are a few places good for landing the canoes right out front, but the best landing is located in a small bay between the campsite and the nearby portage - it's located just to the northwest of the campsite along the shoreline.
