Awkward landing and the kitchen area, which is right on the lake, is currently kind of a jumble with erratic log seating and a huge white pine fallen just behind. The tent pads I seen were kind of lumpy and the swamp just behind camp looks like a great breeding ground for mosquitos. Trails for exploration.

Ok site. Best disembark is to right (S) of visible camp about 100 feet. Much less rocky. Best part of this site is the view of the sunset. Also has a toilet up hill and to left. Mosquitos are absolutely horrible. One of the worst of all the sites I’ve stayed and I’ve been coming for years. They swarm immediately after sunset and even permethrin and 100% deet wouldn’t keep them at bay. Avoid site if you generally stay up after dark.

The site is pretty sheltered. There is somewhat of a view from the kitchen, but trees mostly surround the site. A large white pine is near the kitchen. The landing was difficult and rocky. There is a large, sheltered tent pad area that you could fit a few tents into. The trail to the latrine is very, very steep. Almost need to be a mountain goat to get up there or crawl on your hands and knees up the slope.
