Good spot if you want a short paddle out for your final day which was our goal. Good tent pads and like others said you are "on the edge" of the wilderness and can hear boats at times. Despite that still offers great stargazing at night. The grouse also liked to use the point to launch to the other side of the lake which was entertaining.

This campsite is just inside the wilderness boundary, and you will be able to hear motorboats and lawnmowers. Other than that, it is a decent campsite. Landing is OK on the north side of the site. In front of the kitchen is a steep rock with a great view. Tent pads are large and flat. Both of the tent pads are in the same area.

Just over the boundary and probably no more than 500 feet from a cabin. BUT at the campsite you do still feel secluded except for the occasional whir of boat motors. Tent pads were both excellent--very flat and on grass. Fire grate is high above the lake and there is even a decent swimming area with a gradual sloping lake bottom. This site was perfect for taking my 4-year-old on his first ever overnight in the BWCA!

Not a bad spot to begin or end your trip, maybe, or if you're new to canoe-camping. This spot is just around the corner from homes and cabins on Farm Lake and you'll see and hear powerboats just across the line. Technically, the cove you're camped in is off limits to powerboats because it's in the BWCA, but that was ignored by at least 3 boats the night I stayed. Unfortunately, there's only one other campsite in the vicinity, so if you want to actually get away from powerboats you'll have to paddle further east along the North Kawishiwi and probably into Clear Lake.
