This campsite proved to be quite the unique ranger special! We had travelled a long ways from Round Lake only to find the nice sites on Gabi full. Though I expected this to be an overgrown and un-utilized campsite, we paddled out of our way since I was pretty sure it would be open. It was, but it was nothing like I expected! The landing was small and tough to find. It also was over 100 ft off from my McKenzie map. The site itself though surprised me with a brand new fire grate and a brand new biff. Some ranger has definitely been caring for this one. There are one or two nice tent pads and a good view out into greater Gabi. We saw a couple moose here the next morning and then struck out on a bushwhack adventure further south.
