This campsite is famous for table rock. Other than that, this is an entirely average campsite. The site is on a giant, flat rock. Only a layer of moss covers it in most places. I found two "good" tent pads, but I suspect using stakes would be hard to impossible. The landing is super easy - pick any spot near table rock.

Have stopped here for a breather a couple of times, but not to camp. The Table Rock site is neat to look at and visit, but the ground is bedrock with a thin layer of soil. Easy landing with tent sites on firm ground and just a fair kitchen.

No shade but lots of open rock space at water's edge to relax on. Only 2 true tent pads, one behind fire and one at far end of the rock away from the campsite (by the "table"). We ended up putting up one free-standing tent on a rock surface past the fire and one to the side of the path leading to the fire. Great fishing around the small island just to the east.

Not a particularly great site but big and open - outstanding for its historical and geological interest. "Table rock" is mentioned in the journals of the voyageurs as a stopping place and place name along the way. It is also a rare instance of a very large slab of rock deposited onto four smaller rocks that form a footing for the "table". Apparently this has drawn geologists to study the occurrence and is noted as one of very few places in the world where this has happened. Landing is good.
