For me, the site was between three and four stars. Nice landing on a flat rock. Exposed kitchen with a good view. There is a large, flat area for tents behind the kitchen down a short trail. The area is grassy and is surrounded by tall ferns. The fallen tree across and in front of the kitchen took away some of ambience for me. There will likely be a lot of traffic through here since everyone going this way has to pass by the site.

This site is situated right along one of the narrower stretches of Crooked Lake. As such every passerby is going to be checking out whether the site is available. This site is going to be taken later in the afternoon. If you get the site consider charging a toll for passage (probably frowned upon). The site has a nice kitchen with views up and down Crooked Lake. The landing is pretty good and protected from most windy conditions, The single rectangular tent grassy area is above the kitchen and is very flat. It can accommodate 3 smallish tents easily, 4 if you really packed 'em in. The toilet was a bit of a hike back and had a newer covered toilet. A bit of trail maintenance is needed to keep the trail open.

A very nice site with a good landing, a nice kitchen and a sweet, protected spot for tents. Only downside is lots of traffic close by.

Loved this spot. Woke up one morning to a cow moose and its calf on the other side. Nice kitchen area.
