After a long day of portaging and paddling here from Angleworm, this site was a paradise. It has a nice kitchen with a decent landing and tent pads. Probably a 3 star site on any other lake but the alure of having the lake to yourself gives it one extra star.

We stayed a couple days here after plenty of portaging (with some packed textbooks!) to get here from South Hegman. The rating is more for the experience than the site itself. The site is plenty nice with an open rock shelf, good shaded kitchen, nice tent pads, and some unique old building foundations. There's also some hiking trails and great access to the PMA. We had some of the best northern lights I have ever seen during our stay here which really made a lasting memory for me in this campsite.

Nice private campsite, average pike fishing out front. Nice site if you can grab it. Nothing like having a whole lake to yourself.

This is a great site on a great lake that you can have all to yourself. The lake has good fishing for walleye and pike. I would give this one 5 stars, except for thee yellowjackets that had a nest in the middle of camp.
