The walk up to the site is longer than typical but nothing too hard. The site is not huge but it isn't small. There is a great vantage point as you walk up the campsite. The firepit area is nice but not much cover. It is situated on a rock as is most of the campsite. Finding dirt to use ground stakes could be an issue. While there are a few good tent pads (I don't tent), the whole campsite is angled slightly towards the shore.

Large site with plenty of hammock options and three tent pads. Landing allowed easy in/out without getting feet wet. Great for a large group. Caught one bass in front of the site but otherwise fishing was slow.

Nice open site protected from the prevailing weather by a high granite rise to the west. The site drains very well in a heavy rain, leaving no mud or standing water. Pads for 2 four man tents, and one pad for a two man tent. Only one good spot for a kitchen fly. Canoe landing takes some getting used to, but once figured out, it is an excellent landing. Caught walleye and northern off of campsite. Lots of blueberries all around campsite! Great swimming area. Latrine is hard to find, but good. It's a breezy site, so we never had any major bug problems.

Rocky and on a hill. Plenty of easy fire wood. Scenic
