The campsite is located on a peninsula set among some red pines. There are two landings at the site on either side of the peninsula, both easy to use. The site has a decent view of the lake. There is one decent tent pad near the kitchen. The other tent pad is located up a hill, but this pad is slanted, and you might not be able to put tent stakes in because it is on top of a rock. Definitely secluded - I don't think the lake sees many visitors.

Nice landing and an open airy small peninsula site with mature red pines dominating the sky line. There are a jumble of boulders strewn about the camp which doesn't bode well for finding a good tent pad but, makes for a unique fire grate setup. As mentioned, the site is clearly visible from the portage. So you can check availability before committing to the portage. Seen no one else on the lake during our entire stay. There was a message jar located just outside of camp when we stopped.
