Easily the best site on the lake. Easy, pull-in gravel landing with just a couple of rocks to avoid. There is a climb up to the kitchen. The kitchen is an "open floor plan," but it is sheltered on all sides with no real view. Despite not having a view (something that is usually important to me), it still felt homey, and I almost called it a day and stayed here. All of the tent pads are up by the kitchen. The trail to the latrine is semi-difficult with a few ups and downs.

Nice landing. Climbs up a rocky knob to an open firegrate area. Some "O.K." tent pads. Not many sizeable trees in the immediate vicinity limiting tarp options. Even though the site is up 20 feet from the lakeshore there are no decent views in any direction as trees around the perimeter shelter the site. Still, it's the best site on the lake.
