The good: Firepit is elevated from the lake and offers nice views of Smoke.
The not so good: The landing is a bit rough if the wind is howling. There is a 'blazed' tree marking the landing, but the 2 tent pads and fire pit are up a path that you can't see until you start exploring the site. Like mentioned in another review, there are ants at the firepit.
I'd recommend looking for another site on Smoke, but this one will do for smaller groups.

Fields Ants - This site had a healthy infestation of field ants with a distinguishabley large mound of soil near the camp's fire pit and sitting logs. Unlike the docile carpenter ant, field ants will bite when bothered. We decided to find camp at Burnt Lake.

Landing to site is easy to find, but campsite was hard to find. It is almost hidden. Good view of lake from the campfire. Tent pad areas feel like separate rooms.

very small - almost hidden campsite. took a while to find it. The landing looks obvious but the trail to campsite is semi-hidden and walks along lake up a hill. nice view from site but very small tent pads. Would be ok for soloist or group of 3 individuals with their own tent / hammocks. Very wooded.
