We fit two 4 man tents on this site. It was a little tight, especially for one tent pad, hence the "max 2, 1 good" rating, but it worked fine. Indeed, the tent pads were rather charming in a way. There is room near the tent pads to put up a tarp. So 3 stars on the tent pads. Also 3 stars on the landing, which is better than it looks when you first approach.
Kitchen gets just 1 star because it is extremely tight in terms of space and located exactly in the only place where anyone going between tents/tarp area and landing are going to walk.
Ambiance is 3 stars as well - it's elevated and has a nice view over a small bay where we saw a family of 11 young mergansers plus mom hanging out. But the climb from the landing up to the campsite is steep, and tight like the kitchen. So it all has a more than a bit of a closed in feel.

This site is in a great location with a wonderful view. The problem with this site is thereally are no decent tent pads.
