great site, great view of the lake. Lots of protection for wind. You have to bring in wood. Great spot to fish from the shore.

Nice large site elevated off the water with a good view if the lake. The take-out is on the SE corner of the island with good canoe storage and a gradual walk to the main camping area. The firepit and picnic table is located on the south side of the island with large logs for seats positioned around the fire. The toilet is on the north side with a view to the Seagrim lake portage. It was quite windy around the fire pit area most of the trip which prevented fires, but our tent had protection back in the middle of the island surrounded by trees. There is a large open shoreline on the north side of the island which gave protection from the wind and we were able to have a fire on the rocky shore. Despite the wind, a great spot.
