Large site with multiple areas for tents. You can see it right away from the water coming from the south. It is at the top of a large rock facing south. Has nice views with a picnic table and a couple fire pits. You do have to climb up and down the large rock to reach the water. There is a new outhouse that is shared with campsite 10. It is halfway between site 9 and 10 which is on the east side of the island. There is a new bear box but it is completely full of garbage already. I still did a bear hang as I didn't want my food in there.
