You could stay here. It was hard to land the canoe, even to scope out the place, and we didn't unload. This site has a fire pit and picnic table at the top of a 10-foot rock slope, and a small tent pad back in the woods. We didn't fish the lake, but it's promising for walleye and northern, and the next campsite is four portages west on Island River.
