I was a guide for 2 years and liked this campsite because 1) There is a US/Canada boarder marker on the north side of the site 2) Nice landing 3) Clear water lake, stays cold but hard bottom helps for going for a swim

Very nice site, one of our favorites over 7 days. Lots of open space and sun to dry clothing, but limited breeze since surrounded by trees. Landing is level with beautiful view up the lake.

This site was trashed when we found it, egg shells, food dumped, clothes left, tin foil, nets, minnow trap... etc. We cleaned it up & packed out 8 lbs of junk. BTW this was 1st day of out trip. After cleaned up, site was ok, no real nice views. Landing is rough wit wrong wind. Several nice spots for hammocks.

Very descent campsite. Location makes a visit over to see the Dorothy molter homestead on the adjacent island very convenient. Landing is a bit exposed depending on wind but we found it fine - may be tight for multiple canoes. Grassy, tree sheltered with a great view down the East reach into knife lake toward thunder point. Not a difficult haul up for gear from landing - no steep hill as opposed to the other camp on this island.

The site is large and grassy. There are possibly two more tent pads in the woods. The kitchen is nice. The landing is very rocky. We had a northeast wind the day we went, and it was very hard to land the canoe without smashing into the rocks. Overall, it is a very nice campsite, especially for a large group.
