Decent campsite on a very fun secluded lake that you will likely have to yourself with great day trip option to very good fishing on Western Lake for larger fish. Campsite offers very good fishing just off the front of site from shore or jig and slip bobber fishing in channel. Latrine is a good hike up the hill but bugs have never been an issue the two years I have visited the site.

We spent a couple nights here. A good landing leads up to an elevated (10-12 ft.) fire grate area that is exposed, but does provide good viewing in both directions down the lake. There is one marginal tent pad just back from the fire grate (we used this area as our kitchen). There is another excellent tent pad but, it requires a long steep climb to reach it. The latrine also requires a climb.

A very small campsite. There seemed to be no space (I tend to like open campsites). It is close to the good fishing, though. The landing was the typical rocky landing, but it wasn't too bad. The kitchen is on a slightly protruding peninsula which has a decent view up and down the lake.
