Great island campsite. Plenty of shade, but also a nice slab near the water to fish from or catch some sun. Really nice area for a hammock camper if thats your think. Pretty decent fishing right of the island as well.

Absolutely beautiful island site. Pitch your tent on grass, pine needles, or 6' off the water on a slab and listen to the waves all night. Just like with an all beach site (sand everywhere), there are trade-offs to camping on an island though: access and more importantly in my book -- firewood. You'll have to travel to mainland and collect.

Good site, a bit of a rough landing - but, you can pretty much land on any side of the island if you need to get out of the wind. Walleye right off the kitchen!

This is a beautiful island site, with only one disadvantage - it's on an island. Can be very tough to launch, land, or even access the island with a strong south or west wind. Otherwise, five star landing, kitchen, open space and shade.
