Nice landing leads up to a small fire grate area. The views are obstructed from the grate, but head up to the patio for a large, open, fairly flat rock face with gorgeous views eastward down the Isabella. You can catch some breeze here which is nice when buggy. Like the grate area, the tent pads are cozy. It's perhaps not ideal for large tents/parties, but it's a lovely and unique site.

Workable for one or two people. Widow maker is still there. I used the tent pad closer to the thunderbox because of it. Solid view looking back up the river. If you get here late in the day, it would be a good stop before tackling the portage.

Good landing that leads up to an elevated perch that provides a panoramic view back up river. There is an idyllic sitting rock just off the main camping area to enjoy that scene. The fire grate area is unspectacular though adequate and somewhat sheltered. There is an excellent area for at least a couple tents however, there was currently a large widow maker hanging over precariously close. Also of note: there is a short spur trail/continuation of latrine trail that hooks up to the portage trail which may lure in unwitting passerbys.

On one side, this campsite has a great view elevated up off the water as well as a nice rock for sitting on and easy access to the portage (pros and cons to that.) On the other, this site is a log jungle gym with blowdown criss-crossing the site and the remaining trees are hazards as well. Not a lot of good about this site.
