This site is one of the better backpacking sites on the snowbank loop. It is an elevated site in some pines with a nice view of the lake. Water is easily accessible. Limited tent pads.

Like most backpacking sites, this one is small without a lot of tent set up space. The grate is elevated nicely well above the water which would make water retrieval a bit of a challenge. We landed our canoes at the bottom to access the trail for a day hike and happened upon this site. It has good shade and protection in this little bay, which could be good or bad depending on the bugs and the weather.
