Site has a good view which tips it to 3 star. Tent area is minimal. Saw moose tracks in several locations along the Powwow near this site.

In every feasible way this is a 1 or 2 star site, but the uniqueness and the view are incredible. This site sits up on a high cliff way above South Wilder lake with a view all the way down the lake. The only tent pad when we were there is practically in the kitchen itself and the trail runs through the campsite (ie, no privacy.) But I am giving a high rating for the uniqueness and the beauty. A tough stretch of trail sits on either side of this campsite (at least when we were there) so it is a nice spot for a break.
