Though I have paddled through this lake a few times, I have only ever camped here. Its only real downside is that it is on the portage. The campsite sits up on a ridge above the lake with easy access to either side of the portage. There is a high, shady tree canopy and nice tent pads. It's a pretty wonderful site.
