Large white pines throughout the site, but some have been blown down. The landing is sandy. For swimming, there is a beach just down the shore. It is a large site, but most of the tent pads are slanted. There is a rocky point for a view. I visited after sunset, so it was hard to see some things.

Great site for hammocks, ok site for tents. It's in a nice sheltered bay with very good motor boat landing and excellent canoe landing. The site is elevated and exposed just enough to catch the breeze. The west bank of the bay has a sandy beach and never gets more than 6 feet deep. Follow the creek upstream and discover some old ruins and a dump from the 50s/60s.
