Ben nailed the description. The fire grate is exposed, and stove cooking was harder/slower than average here because of a breeze. Stuck our tent on a slopey space in the trees, and it was tolerable. Did not see anyone anywhere near this site from the time we arrived to the time we left; there's probably not much reason to come to this near dead-end part of the lake when there are so many other sites.

This one is probably 2.5 stars instead of 3. The kitchen is on an exposed rock. The landing is a shallow, flat rock in some weeds. The one good tent pad is, unfortunately, right next to the fire grate. You can find a couple of OK spots on top of the hill behind the campsite. The best (though not perfect) option is a spot a little west of the fire grate just inside the trees. It is not perfectly flat or large, but at least it is not next to the fire grate.
