Along the portage trail, which was very overgrown. Very poor water access. The view is not good. Would only recommend as a last resort.

This site, in forest along portage 30489, is close enough to the Tim River that access to water is okay. Esthetically, this site is a real loser - not even a good view of the river. At best, this site is a viable alternative if you run out of time or energy while doing the Tim. As a nice place to look forward to, no way.
