We stayed here as a base camp for a few nights. Overall was a great site; enough breeze, great view, and plenty of tree cover. The water was high when we went so the beach landing was non-existent, though we just pulled out at the rock shelf down from the fire pit. Two solo tents worked good here, but the main tent pads were soaked.

This would make a very nice solo site. About a 6 to 7 rod portage from the landing to the site. At the site, there is a steeply slanted rock face down to the lake, and the water is deep. I would not want to even gather water there. The fire pit is against a huge boulder for wind protection. The location would provide the solo paddler with ample solitude.

This is a very nice campsite. The landing is a sandy beach. The beach is also good for swimming - I didn't notice any weeds close to shore. The landing is a little down the shore from the campsite itself, so there is a short trail leading from the beach to the kitchen/tent area. There is good fishing along the rocky shore to the south. The view from the kitchen is really nice. The campsite is exposed to the west, so it gets a bit of wind at times. There are three tent pads. Two of them are in an open, flat area, so the tents would be right next to each other. The third pad is just behind the kitchen. You could probably fit a fourth tent somewhere, but it would be at a slight slant. The campsite is not small, but it is not large, either.
