I didn't stay here since we were day tripping, but I would have liked to! What a unique site. Perched so high up on a rock, you'd get a workout bringing your gear up. But once settled, the view would be worth that bit of effort. I might not bring my young kids here, but otherwise it would have great stargazing and relaxation opportunities.

We stayed three nights at this magical site on Korb Lake, with day trips to Lunetta, Silica and Coxsy Pond. There are two potential landings on either side of the site, but the climb from either is steep. The kitchen is on a promontory overlooking the lake, and there is a great tent pad in the shade behind the kitchen. There are paddlers at the far end of the lake heading for Cummings, but at night, you have the lake to yourself. It was so quiet, that all we could hear was the fish jumping and the beavers chewing across the lake. Beavers swam right under the promontory, creating a wake in the calm water. Great sunsets.

It's about the same as the prior review. Steep climb up both sides, but quite the view! Probably best for just one tent. Will definitely be returning on future trips.

The campsite is on the top of a cliff. It has a view of the entire lake. The walk from the landing to the campsite is very, very steep. There are two landings, one on either side of the cliff. Both are difficult but doable. Both landings have a shelf about a foot or two in width followed by a steep dropoff. The landings also double as the swimming area. The swimming area isn't the greatest, but it is doable. The kitchen grate faces away from the lake. Because it is so high, the campsite gets a nice breeze. There is only one or two decent tent pads.
