How does this site still exist? We piled four guys into one canoe to find out if this was still back here. We fought our way through the creek, over beaver dams and marshes, through a heavy rainstorm and got back to this very pretty little lake. There is a spot to the West with a cairn that looks far more like a campsite, but the site is actually further East. We nearly gave up and were turning the canoe around when I spotted what looked like a cut log back in the brush. Sure enough! The site still exists. The fire grate looks as if it has never been used. There is one tree down on the fire grate area. And yes, the site still has a Thunderbox! That was a fun introduction for the three guys in the group that had never heard the term. Cool to see this site back here still.
